I was born and raised in the heart of the Republic of Moldova, a country in Eastern Europe renowned for its rich traditions, warm hospitality, and resilient people. Growing up in Moldova meant witnessing a nation in transition, as the winds of political change swept through the region, shaping not only the country but also the path of my own life.
From an early age, I was drawn to the study of History and the English language, subjects that sparked my curiosity about the world and its diverse cultures. My mother, a woman of profound compassion, patience, and diligence, taught me the values of responsibility, foresight, and thoughtful action—principles that have guided me ever since.
When I graduated from high school, Moldova was on the brink of newfound independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union. My father, a fervent advocate for democracy, played a pivotal role in rallying the people of Moldova towards freedom. His courage and unwavering pursuit of justice left an indelible mark on me, inspiring me to pursue a career in law.
In 2001, I began my legal education at Moldova State University, where I excelled academically from the outset. Upon graduating cum laude in 2005, I set my sights on the United States, determined to continue my legal journey and make a meaningful impact.
After relocating to California in 2006, I embarked on the challenging path to becoming a licensed attorney. My dedication to community service led me to volunteer with various non-profit organizations, including the La Raza Legal Center, the Asian Law Caucus, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, and the San Francisco Bar Association’s Legal Advice and Referral Clinic. These experiences deepened my understanding of the law and fueled my passion for addressing legal inequities.
Tragedy struck shortly after my move to the U.S. when I lost my mother to an illness that could have been treated if adequate medical care had been available. The heartbreak of her loss, compounded by the financial and legal challenges that followed, reinforced the importance of estate planning. This personal experience was a driving force behind my decision to focus on Estate Planning as a core aspect of my practice.
Determined to expand my legal expertise, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) at Golden Gate University, where I was fortunate to learn from esteemed law professors who shared their wealth of knowledge and experience. This education further prepared me for the complexities of practicing law in the United States.
In 2017, I had the unique opportunity to work with Capcom USA, where I was introduced to the fascinating world of entertainment law. This experience, combined with my love for the Street Fighter video game from my childhood, brought a sense of nostalgia and fulfillment to my career.
My subsequent roles at Nexon and X2X Media Group from 2018 to 2021 were instrumental in shaping my legal acumen. During this time, I honed my skills in contracts, marketing, intellectual property, corporate governance, technology, and privacy laws, thanks to the guidance of exceptional mentors.
On January 11, 2021, I achieved a long-held dream by obtaining my California attorney license. Motivated by a strong desire to help families secure their futures, I established my solo legal practice, with a primary focus on Estate Planning and Business Law.
Today, I am fully dedicated to providing comprehensive legal counsel to individuals and businesses in California. My journey from Moldova to California has been one of resilience, dedication, and a deep-seated commitment to justice. I am here to guide you through the complexities of Estate Planning and Business Law, ensuring that your legacy and assets are protected for generations to come.
